Target: Healthcare workers interested in clinical research

肺塞栓症のWells criteria、溶連菌性扁桃炎のCentor criteriaなどのように、複数の臨床情報を組み合わせて、疾患の確率の評価を行うツールを診断予測モデルと呼ぶ。診断予測モデルに関する研究は年々盛んになってきているが、その方法論や解析の実際について系統的に学ぶ機会は限られている。本セッションでは、診断予測モデル研究について、その理論および解析の実際について学ぶことを目的とする。

Diagnostic prediction models aim to estimate a risk of a certain disease on several clinical information (e.g., Wells criteria for pulmonary embolism, Centor criteria for streptococcal pharyngitis). Although numerous studies regarding diagnostic prediction models have been reported, there are few opportunities to systematically learn its methodology and analyses. The goal of this session is to learn the principles and practical skills of diagnostic prediction model research.
